Once or twice, usually when trying to avoid thinking about something else---I've thought that I should organize a festival with a lineup including only bands/musicians who have used my straps + etc over the years. This would ideally happen in my back yard, with the spirits of Rowland S. Howard and Mark Linkous acting as emcees. #spiritualized #low #slowdive #wilco #leeranaldo #stephenomalley #swans #deathvessel #mymorningjacket#deanwareham #megafaun #neilhalstead #sunno)))
Wilco, Sydney Opera House, 4.3.13.
Jeff Tweedy + Rickenbacker + HOLMES skinny.
This would be the actual strap from the Wilco/Tweedy post earlier in the week, photographed at the time it was made. As mentioned, it's the only one I've done with the whip stitch on the shoulder, and there are a couple of things I might do differently now---but overall this is a great looking strap and I plan to get it up on the site for sale in the near future. Meanwhile, contact me if interested. Color options shouldn't be a problem---blonde, black, etc., dependent mostly on correct lacing being available.
Not sure how this slipped by me for so many months, but I've finally found a photo of Jeff Tweedy using a HOLMES skinny strap, in Bologna, Italy, 3.9.2012. I knew he had it but wasn't sure he was using it. Notice the shoulder piece is whip-stitched...the one and only I've ever done. Need to do a few more I think. Looks good.
Here's the same strap on video. Barcelona, 6.8.2012:
I’ve posted about this strap before, but this is too good. HOLMES custom floral strap @ 1st song.

Jeff Tweedy (Wilco) in a video doc’d photo shoot for St. Louis Magazine. The first appearance of this particular strap on this particular guitar.

The strap Jeff Tweedy is using on his Gibson J-200 in this photo is one of my custom carved florals. It definitely couldn’t have ended up on a cooler guitar.
Wilco, captured on Impossible Project Polaroid by NPR’s Becky Lettenberger as they performed at a Tiny Desk Concert. She got band members to sign the shot. NPR’s editing the video of their set this week and will get it up as soon as possible! —Sarah
